As a brand, Epic Pure is a true gem. But, not every product of this water filter brand is top-notch. I like the Epic Pure pitcher water filter among the many filters they produce. Here are a few reasons you should grab this pitcher.
State of Art Filtration:
The central filtration unit is outstanding. It can filtrate the most commonly known water pollutants. But, according to its price label, it’s really incredible. Firstly, I thought its all brag. That’s why I bought this item and used it for two days [To get rid of the new smell]. Then, I sent a sample to a nearby lab for analysis. Have a look at what the lab found out!

Filtration Life counter:
For me, it’s a critical feature of this pitcher. The last pitcher I used, there was no filter indicator. For this reason, I used it at least 50 days more after the filtration unit expired. I was lucky that I didn’t have to face any health hazards. However, for busy people, a reminder is always necessary. The life counter system of this pitcher is simply handy for this reason.
BPA Free Construction:
Most of you know that the pitcher is built with BPA from its Amazon sales page. But, it doesn’t tell the full story. BPA stands for Bisphenol A, which interferes with the human endocrine system upon entry into the body. That means if the water bottle or filter unit we are regularly using can be a potential source of BPA as it is one of the widely used raw materials for making durable plastics. So, we should buy water bottles, filters free from BPA and other toxic chemicals.

NSF/ANSI Certified:
I always trust a water bottle or water filter that NSF and ANSI have rigorously tested. This pitcher filter has been tested for several standards of NSF./ANSI. The standards are 42, 53, and 401, including NSF 53 WF.
User-Friendly Design:
The restoring water system and pouring facility are exclusively designed. The restoring process is straightforward, just we need to open up the hole on top of the lid and pour the water. The pouring facility is also simplified from other pitchers as the tongue has a cover. So while filling the water on top it’s easy to cover up the pourer tongue that there will be no further chances of cross-contamination.
Faster Filtration:
The filtration process is pretty quick. But, I have found that the first filtration starts after 10 minutes of filling the reservoir with water. And within another 10-15 minutes, I got a glass full of pure water.
Good Capacity:
As per the manufacturer, it can hold around 8 cups of purified water. Unfortunately, that is where I’m slightly disappointed. I found it carry 7.5 glasses of water, and if I could get 8, I would be highly delighted.
Budget-Friendly:
To be frank, this pitcher was at a much lower price in 2021. However, in the last quarter of 2021, it went out of stock from Amazon, and when the stock came back, the price went a bit higher than before. This is because it is a trendy product and has gained much popularity in recent years because of its performance and reasonable price.

Yes, this filter efficiently removes fluoride from tap water. But, if you are using well water, I wouldn’t recommend this pitcher for you. This Epic Pure pitcher is not efficient in purifying well water efficiently.

No, currently, you will need to buy the BPA-free plastic pitcher. However, as per Epic Pure, they are in the process of developing a glass pitcher.
