There is no problem with using metal utensils on le Creuset. So, you can use metal utensils on your Le Creuset; I won’t stop you.

However, metal utensils, spoons, and balloon whisks should be used with caution and should not be scraped across the non-stick surface. And if you stay careful when using metal utensils on le Creuset, there won’t be any problem.

I usually recommend avoiding using non-sticky things because a little carefulness can be the reason for destroying your non-sticky tools.

On the other hand, I will suggest using Silicone Tools on your Le Creuset or tools made of wood or thermal plastic can also be used. Because I had some bad experiences with metal utensils but had a good experience with silicone, wooden, & plastic tools, it will serve you very well. And you will never regret it.

What Utensils to Use with le Creuset?

Le Creuset offers good cooking tools, but kitchen tools are just like our children, so we need to care for them. Although le Creuset can be used with any utensils, I have both bad and good experience with some of the utensils while using with my le Creuset.

The reason for my bad experience is I didn’t have the right information, and I don’t want you to do the same and harm your le Creuset. So, here I will tell you What utensils you can use with your le Creuset. So, let’s see:

  • Wooden utensils: This kitchen tool is user-friendly and can be used with any kitchen item, including le Creuset. It is made from raw teak wood, lightweight, budget-friendly, heat-resistant, durable, restorative material, and safe for use with non-stick tools.
  • Thermal plastic utensils: This is a fantastic kitchen tool that is good for any cooking tool, especially for le Creuset. The most admirable thing about this utensil is it is reusable, budget-friendly, heat-resistible, non-stick friendly, comfortable cooking, good grip, lightweight, and reheatable.
  • Silicone utensils: According to my experience, this is the best utensil used with my le Creuset, without any doubt. Silicone is a heat-resistant material, and it can tolerate up to 230ºF, even doesn’t carry any cooking flavour. Furthermore, it is safe, so its chemicals do not affect the diet. And the most fantastic thing about this material is it is BPA-free, dishwasher safe, quality, and incredibly durable.

[Note: I don’t recommend using metal utensils with your le Creuset because it can harm and destroy your non-sticky le Creuset.]

Can I Use Stainless Steel Utensils on le Creuset?

As I said before, yes, you can use stainless steel utensils on your le Creuset, even I loved it most to use with my le Creuset. Silicone is a solid substance at extreme heat, ensuring that no chemicals or flavours are transferred even at 230ºF.

These food-grade silicones are indeed the process of combining various materials to create safe utensils. Not only that, They’re BPA-free utensils that can withstand a lot of abuse. However, BRA AIR kitchenware is of excellent quality and unique design.

As a result, the materials utilized were custom-made for this purpose and will not deform or harm even if mistreated. Furthermore, they are safe to throw in the dishwasher.

Finally, the sole disadvantage of silicone utensils is their flexibility. When you carry something heavy, the rubbery surface of some goods bends. As a result, they become inconvenient. This can occur if you use a low-quality silicone tool to lift a hefty cake, for example.

However, the best option is those with a durable “heart” and high-quality silicone. For instance, utensils composed of silicone in the section that directly contact foodstuff and stainless steel in the rest are one alternative.

On the other hand, the silicone ending protects the cookware while also withstanding high temperatures. As a result, I experience that silicone utensils of good quality are unquestionably the finest solution.

Can I Use Metal Spoon on Le Creuset?

Yes, you can use the metal spoon on Le Creuset, but as I mentioned above, I don’t recommend a metal spoon to use on Le Creuset. They are not safe for use with the Le Creuset or any no-sticky cooking tools.

Other than that, around 4 years back, I used a metal spoon with my Le Creuset, and It ended up burning my hand very badly and harming my Le Creuset. So, I wouldn’t say I like to use the metal spoon on my Le Creuset. But if you don’t have any option other than using the metal spoon on your Le Creuset, use it. But it would help if you were very careful. And if there is an option, try to avoid it.
